Childrens training to resume from 10th Sept


Following on from our adults only classes we will now offer children’s only classes on Thursday’s at the AB&D centre in Bacup from Sept 10th.

Classes will be split on age groups 7-12 years and 13-17 years. We will run both age groups concurrently from 6pm to 7pm with the larger group of 7-12 year students on the top floor, and the smaller group of 13-17 year students on the 1st floor. The maximum size of each age group will be 15, in accordance with government guidelines. The maximum training capacity will be 8 students on the top floor and 3 students on the 1st floor.

Students must wear training shoes or equivalent. For covid safety reasons we do not allow bare feet in the dojo. Students must maintain 2m social distancing guidelines in the dojo.

Classes MUST be booked online using our online booking system as we have limited spaces available. Classes will cost £6 per booking, payment will only be by card on entry to the dojo. We will no longer accept cash payments.

Please check your childs KUGB licence is up to date. It is a condition of entry that your child has a valid up to date licence. You can apply online to renew an expired license at kugb.me New starters must complete a club membership form prior to booking and apply for a KUGB licence after their third class.

Parents are no longer allowed into the dojo, there is a limited waiting space nearby (4 persons), so you may prefer to wait in your vehicle.

Adults and children over 13 should wear a face covering when entering the building as per government guidelines. A one way system for entry and exit is operating in the building, please follow the signs. Hand sanitiser is available on entry to the building and the dojo entrance.
